Flour milled from the cassava root, used as a grain-free carbohydrate and binder.

Why it turns up in dog food

  • Very digestible and unlikely to trigger a reaction, useful in limited-ingredient recipes. Provides starch energy.

Other names for this

Manufacturers do not all use the same wording. These all mean the same thing.
