Monterey Jack Cheese
A mild cow's milk cheese, used in small amounts for flavor.
Why it turns up in dog food
- Adds calcium, protein and palatability. Used sparingly given its fat content and the lactose it carries.
An ingredient on its own tells you very little.
What matters is how much of it there is and where it sits in the list. That is why we weigh
