Mixed Tocopherols
A blend of the naturally occurring forms of vitamin E, used to keep fats from turning rancid.
Why it turns up in dog food
- A natural preservative that protects the fats in the food, and a source of vitamin E antioxidant activity. Usually preferred over synthetic preservatives.

Manufacturers do not all use the same wording. These all mean the same thing.
An ingredient on its own tells you very little.
What matters is how much of it there is and where it sits in the list. That is why we weigh
