INGREDIENT
Dried Plain Beet Pulp
Dried beet pulp with no added sugar, the fibrous material left after sugar is extracted from sugar beets.
Why it turns up in dog food
- A moderately fermentable fiber that supports firm stools and feeds beneficial gut bacteria. The plain designation confirms no sugar has been added back.
An ingredient on its own tells you very little.
What matters is how much of it there is and where it sits in the list. That is why we weigh
the top five rather than reacting to any single name further down.
