Anchovy

Anchovy is an ingredient that is packed with nutritious content and much needed oils for your dog’s daily diet. This is an ingredient that promotes healthy and soft skin and a shiny huggable coat of fur.

Why it turns up in dog food

  • A small oily fish exceptionally rich in EPA and DHA omega 3 fatty acids. Low on the food chain, so contaminants accumulate very little.
An ingredient on its own tells you very little. What matters is how much of it there is and where it sits in the list. That is why we weigh the top five rather than reacting to any single name further down. Back to the wiki
